The 11 Best South Jersey Restaurants: Our Budtenders’ Best Pairings

Friends enjoying pizza together at a South Jersey restaurant

Whether or not you believe Central Jersey is a thing, one thing can’t be denied, and it’s not that South Jersey exists — nobody is debating that! It’s that South Jersey restaurants are just as spectacular as all the big-deal ones up in North Jersey. Now that, some people are denying, and they’re wrong. We’ll prove it: Here are our picks for the top South Jersey restaurants from right here in Turnersville, to Burlington County, to Wildwood, along with ideas for pairing each stop with cannabis.

1. House of Brews, Turnersville

Locals line up at House of Brews for its French onion soup and an impressive selection of rotating local craft beers on tap. The menu is full of classic bar fare, with many unique twists you won’t find in too many other places in South Jersey. Have you ever tried an elk burger? House of Brews is just the place to explore something new. Plus, it’s right down the road from Midnight Greens — we love a convenient local hang.

  • Address: 3501 Route 42 (Black Horse Pike) #510, Turnersville, NJ 08012
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 6 minutes/2 miles

2. Limoncello Ristorante, Sewell

Head down Ganttown Road as you exit Midnight Greens, and you’ll quickly be at Limoncello Ristorante in Sewell. We adore its chicken parm and rigatoni alla vodka, and we love dining in the crisp and serene partially outdoor area.

We’re also not alone in ranking Limoncello among the best Italian restaurants in South Jersey — it’s listed in the 2024 Best of New Jersey Restaurant Guide. Pro trip: Arrive here with ample munchies courtesy of The Growfather’s White Widow flower.

  • Address: 508 Hurffville – Cross Keys Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 7 minutes / 2.1 miles

3. La Tentación Pizza & Mexican Grill, Westville

If you love Philly’s Mexican pizza scene but not the commute over the bridge, La Tentación Pizza & Mexican Grill is for you. This colorfully decorated Westville restaurant serves birria pizza, Tijuana pizza, Zaragoza pizza, and other pies you’re unlikely to find elsewhere in South Jersey. There’s also a robust menu of traditional Mexican fare, and whatever you order will feel even more comforting paired with Locals Only’s Lemon Cherry Gelato wet diamonds.

  • Address: 831 Broadway, Westville, NJ 08093
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 14 minutes / 10.9 miles

4. The Farm and Fisherman Tavern, Cherry Hill

We love that The Farm and Fisherman Tavern looks kind of like a food market from the outside. It fits the bill — this Cherry Hill restaurant prides itself on using regional produce and proteins, and we can taste the difference. Every bite of classics like deviled eggs and riffs on Mexican shrimp cocktails is as fresh and comforting as the tavern-like yet upscale interior. Take a pull from Ozone Reserve’s Pineapple Express vape to match the buzzing gastropub energy.

  • Address: 1442 E Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 21 minutes / 17.9 miles

5. Gass & Main, Haddonfield

Among the newer spots on this list, Gass & Main in Haddonfield has quickly made our list of the best South Jersey restaurants for dinner. It pairs a low-fuss vibe — soothing baby-blue wallpaper, a quiet and spacious back patio — with a fusion-esque menu of steak and fries, bang bang asparagus, chili garlic lamb chops, and more. Enjoying a Wana Strawberry Lemonade gummy before you head over may leave you feeling as tranquil as this restaurant’s ambiance.

  • Address: 7 Kings Ct, Haddonfield, NJ 08033
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 22 minutes / 16.5 miles

6. Norma’s Eastern Mediterranean Cuisine, Cherry Hill

With burgundy walls, funky lanterns, and plenty of art, Norma’s Eastern Mediterranean Cuisine feels like home even in its strip-mall outdoor seating. This woman-owned restaurant’s hummus supreme lives up to its name, and its moussaka is just as delightful. It’s so good it might seriously boost your mood, just like RYTHM’s Blue Dream infused pre-roll. (Just enjoy your pre-roll at home. Restaurants aren’t among the places where you can smoke in New Jersey.)

  • Address: 145 Barclay Shopping Ctr, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 22 minutes / 18 miles

7. Carlucci’s Waterfront, Mt. Laurel

For one of the best South Jersey restaurants with a view in our area, choose Carlucci’s Waterfront. Dine on upscale seafood pasta or decadent chicken marsala and gaze out at the glistening Rancocas Creek and its greenery — we love pairing the tranquility with the happy euphoria of Breakwater’s Blissful Wizard Bx1 flower. Even without this extra elevation, we’re always treated to some of the best fine dining in South Jersey at Carlucci’s.

  • Address: 876 Centerton Rd, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 34 minutes / 26.3 miles

8. Olympia Restaurant, Vineland

Out in the underexplored South Jersey city of Vineland, Olympia Restaurant offers an absolute feast for the taste buds. This family-run Greek spot’s menu is home to delights you might’ve never heard of, such as an eggplant-tomato dip called meliganosalata, alongside the gyro platter of your dreams. The design evokes beachside Grecian luxury with its sharp whites and baby blues, and with Fernway’s Mandarin Orange vape, you can pair Olympia Restaurant with the appropriately summery flavor of citrus.

  • Address: 739 S Delsea Dr, Vineland, NJ 08360
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 34 minutes / 19.7 miles

9. Sunny’s, Atlantic City

Opened in late 2025, Sunny’s is on our mind even before we hit the AC Expressway. This polished (but not ritzy) brunch spot at the Ocean Casino and Resort does monkey bread as beautifully as any bakery and spins a McMuffin into a restaurant-appropriate masterpiece. Since there’s no dessert menu, we recommend enjoying Grön’s daytime sativa milk chocolate bar beforehand to truly indulge.

  • Address: 500 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 51 minutes / 46.9 miles

10. Oak & Ember Grill, Wrightstown

Oak & Ember Grill is about as far north as you can get while still being in South Jersey, and it’s well worth the trek. We love this Wrightstown restaurant’s gastropub-esque menu and walls adorned with acoustic guitars and old-school parlor signage. We often immerse ourselves in paninis piled high with fillings (or the chicken parm that doesn’t skimp on the sauce) in the outdoor area. It’s even easier to get lost in when paired with Rove’s Maui Waui vape.

  • Address: 1 Cookstown New Egypt Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 57 minutes / 46.7 miles

11. Santorini, Wildwood

It’s not a Wildwood trip without a stop at Santorini. This Mediterranean restaurant is directly on the road from the Garden State Parkway to Wildwood, and the happy hour deals — grilled salmon and asparagus for just $16! — are actually insane. The interior feels like something straight out of a Mediterranean coastal home, and the outdoor seating absolutely glistens at night. That’s even more true with Miss Grass’ All Times pre-rolls in your stash bag.

  • Address: 517 W Rio Grande Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260
  • Distance from Midnight Greens: 1 hr 7 minutes / 73.7 miles
